OK this is probly really simple but, can you swap spider gears from carrier to carrier w/out any consequence? Of course it would be the same axle. i.e. dana44 to dana44
Would there be any wear issues to be concerned with? Do you have to put them back in the same order?

as long as they fit they should be fine...make sure the thrust washers are to spec as well. If you see any galling on the carrier or the side gear, you might want to replace the thrust washers as they may be worn down. Otherwise you should be good to go.

yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm looking at moving my lunchbox to the rear and not sure how much the replacement spiders will have to matter. no money in the bank for selectable yet.
