Auto tranny problems....

Just looking for some input... Awhile back I was using my Scrambler to try to pull Stomper out of a hole out in the play area. I couldn't get him to budge. I was in 4 hi and none of my wheels would spin. I'm guessing my tork converter was slipping. I'm running 3.73's and 33 inch tires so I'm at a bit of a tork loss there. I have the 258 6 that puts out around 150 hp I'd guess. I've never had any issues with my tranny before and it seems to run fine. Just wondering if this is normal for my combo. I'm almost ready to do the 4.11 gears so that may help some. Will more hp hurt or help this issue? I'm planning on doing an engine swap to a 4.6 stroker in the future. Should I have that tork converter replaced? The trany was supposed to be rebuiolt when I bought it and it seems fine other wise. It does shift a little hard but I've attributed that to the rebuild....

with 33s, 4.10s, and a 5-speed, my 4.0 won't even climb a hill in 4 hi. let alone dragging a rig behind me.
Use low range, you should be fine.
But the 4.11s will make a hige difference as well.
Not sure about the stroker. what's the estimated hp with a 4.6?

For the Stroker I'm aming at 240 on the conservative side. Building it for tork and low RPM. Havent desided on the cam yet though...

Thanks for the info on the auto. I should have just tried 4 lo. Glad to hear my tork converter isn't craping out...
