This is probably a fluke that I got on the site today because it's been filtered since I got here on the 10th. Almost everything is filtered over here so I can't do much web surfing and I'm sure this will become filtered again. Just wanted to say HI while I could, weather is hot and humid! I'm going to keep trying to stay on here as much as I can to keep up with the times. Have fun, stay warm and I'll see you guys in about 4 months.

The filters reset after 12 months, so they might take awhile to catch on again. Happened at work while I was at DM. They never caught on and I was able to surf both here and another forum without an issue for the last nine months I was there.

Usually the person who blocked it the first time is gone and the replacement doesn't care.

If there's anything you guys need, let us know.

Hopefully I'll be back in time for Christmas, not holding my breath though. We'll definetly have to get some riding in when were both home. I talked to Stephanie through PM last week and she was saying you just got moved in, congrats...another guy from my shop just moved in on your street last week. Oh and there is at least one good thing about being deployed with the Army, they don't filter a lot of websites!:whistle:

Well almost 1 month down and 3 left to go. Weather is still hot and no sign of cooling off. On the plus side I've lost 7 pounds due to the heat and havn't smoked since the 10th of September.

Heat, yeah I know brother...110 here today, still beats 133 we hit in July. Good job on the smoking, I'm on day 96 of no smoking myself(who's counting?) Weight, oh well...yeah, I've gained like 12 pounds since leaving, I need to stay out of the weight room! LOL

Well, October has come and gone along with November. December is half over and 2 more paychecks and I should be getting ready to start the trek home. From what I've heard their isn't much snow and the weather hasn't been too bad. Sounds like I've misses some good meetings and looks like I've missed some good trail rides I probably could have made it to. Congrats on the new members and prospect members since I've been gone and looking forward to meeting everyone. Will be making some time after I get back off of leave to make the requirements for the club so I can be up for voting in. Tobacco free for 3 months and going strong! Thanks for all the help that has been givin since I've been gone and lookin forward to that first trail ride and meeting when I get back!

Yeah I'll be gone for the holidays again but oh well, some one has to do it right? The baby isn't due until the end of May so I will be around for that but with that being said I will not be able to attend Meet & Greet with New born and Family up on vacation.

Well, as stated in the I Spy thread the wheels are starting back in motion. 1 Paycheck left maybe 0 depending on when my replacement gets here. By boss is going to try to get me out early because Eielson sent me 11 days earlier then my RNLT date, I'm looking at 133 not to include travel days on 122 orders. Granted this deployment has been a cake walk compaired to my last deployment, but it would be nice to get to see my friends and family sooner then expected.

The meeting went well. He ditched the traditional hand written notes scribbled on paper - and the occasional typed out meeting agenda and had his lap top with notes on it! :eek: It was well organized and all had a good time - even with about 50 peoples in the house.

LOL, I forgot to print out the agenda at work, the home printer is still packed away for the remodel...I kinda felt like a nerd!

Well its my last payday here in Al Dhafra, my replacement is all spun up on things and now I'm just in limbo until my plane arrives. I'm looking at being back by the end of the week, it feels like this time was never going to get here but now is just around the corner. Rose and I should be at the bowling night however we are unable to make the Feb meeting. We are going to be leaving for Michigan that morning so we will have to make up for lost time at the March meeting. See you guys soon and thank you for the support and the things you guys have done for Rose and I since I've been gone.
