That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen

One person can push an A-10 on level ground.

With brakes off, they have virtually no rolling resistance.

I used my pickup with no extra weight to tow jets around when I worked at a northern Minnesota airport growing up. The only thing I did was put it in 4x4 and sometimes low range to help get grip on the icy roads.

Most aircraft tow vehicles have 4 cylinder engines and make less than 100 horsepower. They just set them up so they are heavy enough to stop a plane, that's the biggest problem. Getting them rolling is easy, if he would've hit the brakes, he and his car would've been crushed.

Keep in mind that thing couldn't "tow" crap. "Pulling something is all that hard. The suspension and brakes wouldn't handle much weight. I've driven one in NC and wasn't impressed at all. I'll take my dodge over one any day of the week.

Well the 4.3 tons of ballast in the back was impressive on its own. Those two rear street tires held the weight of 2 other touaregs on their own, with double pressure, and still had the traction to pull the plane. The inertia is what does it...sure once it's moving it's easy, but to get it moving you need a good bit of grunt.

Sure a dodge cummins can do it too, but that's not a family station wagon/SUV, and it's got tires designed to haul loads and tow.
