Just when I thought my week could not get worse. The Nissan has a coolant leak. It's coming from some valve that is connected to the hose. See; http://www.arcticoffroad.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=8531
The fluid is just bubbling out of this thing. How do I fix it?

GREAT! Now on top of this the little plastic piece on top, just broke off.

I think I fixed it. I got the plastic bolt out and found a metal one in the big old box of bolts that crazy4ink gave me. I put that one in and it seems to be working.

Glad you got it fixed. In the pic, it doesn't look like that is needed for anything. It looks like someone spliced two pieces of hose together to make one hose.
Glad all those bolts I gave you went to some good use!!

It runs between the two main hoses and has a small one in the back that hooks to the heater hoses.

So that coupler does do something then? Hmmm...other than allowing the smaller hose to hook into the back, I wonder what that valve would have even been for...

You're welcome to look at it anytime. I don't know what it does. I'm just glad it isn't leaking anymore.
