I found a website that claims it could send me a set of 39.5" IROK's on a brand new set of 16.5" Black steel rims (for the new project) for $1740 mounted, balanced and shipped to my door. Note this is for a set of 5. The actual shipping price they show is $138. Yes, the zip code was set properly. Shipping to my old zip code in Tucson was $75.
Tires such as this are not in the budget this year, but I was looking around. This was the best deal I found by a very long shot.
I would call to be sure. Many times I put in my zipcode and the shipping comes up really cheap, then I call and it goes up considerably. Usually you will see something that says to call for shipping to AK,HI or like places, or that a different shipping cost will be e-mailed to you. What is the website? Share the info so if it is true we can benefit.

It's possible for shipping to be that low, depending upon the warehouse the tires ship out from.
If they're shipped straight out of Seattle it's easily possible. When my winch was crated and sent up it was $65 from Seattle but $70 for the segment from Portland to Seattle.

I've bought from them before, best deal anywhere.
Some shipping quotes may not be accurate and will be recalculated manually. Most common are orders being shipped to outside the 48 contiguous States, expedited shipping and APO/FPO. We will advise you of any additional shipping charges and ask for your approval prior to shipping. Most tires cannot be shipped to APO boxes.
So that shipping price may not be accurate. Like I said before I would definately call first to be sure.

I would contact MVC about tire purchases before I did anything, because they seems to have good deals going on shipping.

I'm not too entirely sure Trailtoyz is in any kind of full swing at the moment....
Definitely talk with MVC first....I haven't gotten the full quote yet but they can work something out through American Tire to piggyback their tire shipments, if you don't mind waiting however long it takes to get one up here...they barge them up so it's alot cheaper than flying/trucking.
I think everyones right about Trailtoyz being down and out, not for sure though. I got my 40" boggers from him along with rims, insanely cheap compared to anyone else. Put it this way, if you looked on the internet or magazines for prices on the tires I ended up paying 3 whole dollars more per tire than was listed, the rims were the exact same price you'd get them for in the states. Tried other places and the tires alone were around $50 more each than was listed, rims around $20 more. That being said he had probably the worst service of any other company that I've dealt with, but hey he save me a couple hundred buck so oh well. I also agree that your quote online is not going to be what you end up paying in the end, pretty much guaranteed.

You could probably have the seller ship to seattle(I think) and then have span alaska take it from there. My family's business does that with large printers and we save about A LOT of money. Just a thought!

Goodyear paid for my 40"s to be shipped here. If you give me a weight I'll get you a price.
Are they the bias or the radials??
Holeproof prices
4 Bias 39x16.5 $1218.95
4 Radials 39x16.5 $1532.40

They were Bias. Not in the money to get them this year, but seemed like a good deal.
I did contact them through the contact us, and the response was that the shipping quote was correct. They even offered free shipping when you purchased the no questions asked $120 guarantee. ($120 for a set of 4)

Lucky you....the lifetime warranty SAVES you money on shipping...it costs me! Unless I get wheels as well....eh. If I get new wheels they'll be 5x5.5 to match the axles I plan on putting in, and they'll just sit there until I get it done.
