Proceeds go to our classroom building project that will be delivered June 14th. We desperately need to get this building done.

What's a PIE auction? Just like ti sounds - we've baked 40 or so dessertts - pies, cakes, etc... they will be auctioned off tomorrow. Pecan, penanut butter, apple/blackberry, pumpkin pies are just the start. Most home made form scratch. I know I spent 3 hours prep time (before the obven) on 2 pies! It should be a good time, benefits a good cause, and there is a chilli supper afterward.

Cocnut pie, cherry cheeskace, pineapple upsdie down cake, pistachio tatrs, cinnamon rolls, pumpkin pies, layered chocolate truffle cakes, lemon meringue pie, Cappucino muffins, banana bread, pech pie, rasberry Marble sheet cake, etc...

OK, not really a shameless plug but...

If you missed today, as we had about 35 people in attendance and 60+ desserts - tomorrow between our worship (starts at 11, over around noon) and our potluck dinner (which starts normally around 12:30) we will be finishing off auctioning these desserts. So we should get started auctioning about 12:15 tomorrow.

As well, we have more stuff arriving in the AM to be auctioned - which I think speaks volumnes for the folks here.

So if you're interested - you're welcome to swing by at 12:15 and stay for the auction and potluck - or attend service and stay for all.

Another thing that Kris mentioned is that the club has in the past used our facilities (and will always be welcome to continue) and this new building will make the dinners typically held here much easier to do as we will have a large dinning area plus a full sized kitchen when this building is finished. Not saying this in any way as a guilt trip type of thing - just stating the facts.

WOW - am I going to be fat - ok, fatter - after tonight :D
