Anybody know any other places besides napa and the dealership that might sell these. Napa doesn't seem to carry it and I know it's going to be outrageous at the dealership. And the parts area is closed today. Thanks for any help.
And just incase you're wondering, this is why the vehicle needs a new one.

It is a 2001 ZTS with AT. It's the pass side. Let me know how much and I'll let the guy know so he can get me the money.

Seekins- $402.80 Has in stock $324.40 for the outer joint plus shaft.
Napa (finally found it there)- $73.75, $75 Core charge, plus freight has to order
CSK- $124.99 new, $79.99 reman, $50.00 core charge plus freight.

What is the difference in the one from Ford and the one from Napa and CSK? I know the dealer is more expensive but that's a lot.

Did you get your price from teh store itself, or partsamerican.com? You're familiar with that discount process, right?

If you go through the store, don't let Schucks bill you for shipping. That's BS. They're a parts store, they should be able to stock your part. Talk to a manager.

I went through the store. Napa wanted shipping ans schucks wanted shipping. I found the part online for close to the same price.

What discount? I looked on there site. I can get a reman fairly cheaper. But the new one with shipping, core charge, and returning the old one will not be cheaper.

The internet price is far cheaper than the store price 90% of the time. If you print out the internet ad, or completely buy it online and pick up in the store, the store will give you the internet price. And you don't pay shipping.

Hmmm. One of the remans on there has free ground shipping. I'm going to call and see about it. It was the same price as the store.

Napa and CSK have a lifetime warrenty! If the boot fails the axle will be replaced.
Keep your resecpt. I am sorry Mell I was unable to return your call today.
The axle was sold.

I told him what prices I found. Quickest anyone can get it here is by the 13th according to the website. I hae to call to verify that and the shipping charges. He actually said get the one from ford as they have it now. I tried telling him to wait a bit instead of paying more than double the price. I'll have to wait and see what he says.
