4.0 ?

does anyone have the time and willingness to let me take the cap of there distributer on a 4.0 HO? i think the one that was on the old engine was from a different type of engine and it is makeing it hard to get base time on my new engine .... my jeep runs ok around base but when i take it on the rich and get it to 45-55 (dont realy know the exact speed with 33's) and stomp on it, it bogs down and takes like 5-10 sec to catch up. im thinking it has to be timeing cuz i was haveing such a hard time geting it timed ..... it defies all laws of timeing!!! so if anyone can help by leting me take a look at there distributer i would realy appreciate it. thanks

I might be able to help you out.... I'm running 4.0 fuel injection on my 258. It is the kit from Mopar and is based on the 94 wrangler system. It uses a 4.0 distributor. My jeep is in the garage with the hood up and the rear axle guts on the floor...

what i need it to look at the distributer....is it ne or used or reman?

The distributor came in the injection kit from Mopar. It's on the engine and runs great...
