This kit (Ron has a good price on it) comes with a nice assortment of implements, but if I have a high-lift already, why do I want to carry another handle around? Can this kit use the Hi-Lift jack handle to work the tools? It doesn't look like it. THAT would be good engineering and I would certainly be interested in this kit then. Otherwise I guess I can carry a couple extra handles in my rig.

Ron, got any information of this? I didn't want to clog your vendor thread.

That kit looks like a telescoping handle, which may be the only difference. It seems that the tools attach to the handle the same way the jack itself attaches to the handle.

Nope, the handles are not universal. The handle that comes with the "Handle All" kit is telescoping and has a inside diameter that is bigger than a normal hi lift jack handle. Straight from the engineer at Hi-Lift. Not the answer your looking for, but thats the way it goes sometime.

FWIW, the handle compacts and fits in the bag that comes with the kit.

Any thoughts on the club ordering one of these for the EQ trailer?

I'm curious what the point is for this...In order to make the handle strong enough to handle the forces of a sledgehammer, shovel and axe, it needs to be rather thick material...and a larger diameter makes that alot of material to wield. Also, a hi-lift handle is already a good diameter for most people...This just seems (on paper) to be a little unwieldy. I guess what I'm hinting at is why not just make it so you could use a standard handle in case of emergencies?

I guess I'd have to see one in person to make a good judgement.

I took a look at it while at 4whell farts. It looked nice. The handle seemed like it would take the abuse and the bag was fairly small.

I'd be willing to bet the handle in the kit could be adapted to work the Jack. Then you could lose that one.
