What a day! Great group of people and 5 capable rigs.:D
Present were:
ajpthng - Tom with passengers Mike and Crystal
Arctic Express - Marek with passenger Joey
99ramsport - Carl with passenger Travis
SHoppe715 - Me with passenger Robert
Justin and wife (forgot her name) [ChevyKev edits: ... Myra - I think]
Awesome day. Short stop at the trailhead and uneventful trip to the playhill. I chained up there and a test run was a slow crawl straight up the play hill. :rockon:Then we headed up the hill. There were some really solid drifts up by the cell tower and Carl had to tug me back once. Tom, and Justin and I all took a few runs at the last and biggest one. Carl turned back at the top of the loop but he was doing great all day in that Blazer with open diffs and AT's. The loop was done almost easily. We had towinch once and tug a bit, but we were up and out with some daylight to spare.
For a maiden voyage, the Grizzlybeaver ran great. You could say I gave the beaver a good pounding loved it. I forgot to bring a camera but there were a bunch of pictures taken.
All in all an extremely successful run.

Great day! No one broke anything, only got delayed for a little while, got to bust through some good snow drifts. I only got maybe 2 pic's that turned out so as soon as I can remember how to get them into the gallery under the 08 trail rides I will up load them.

I'll bring the camera to the meeting on Monday if anyone wants to copy the pictures over to a computer. Great run and thanks to everyone for making it fun, especially to you Marek.

Im glad to hear your guys made it back safely. How was the corner that gave everyone so much trouble?

No one really had much of a problem except Justin in the Bronze TJ. He has some bald Boggers and he had a hard time gettin traction like Marek did last time with his LTB's. The just went right to the bottom and spun on the frozen ground.
I also forgot to mention that it was a great showing of the prospects on this run!

Sorry but these are the only two pic's that are any good that I took. I know Mike and Crystal had there video camera with them and took some video at the play hill. I'm going to see about getting there camera and uploading that video to youtube and posting it.

That's not entirely accurate. I need to re-attach a ripped off tailpipe.:errf: I blew a crosslink on the rear left chain but got it fixed on the trail. Oh, yeah, and my rubbermaid tub lid went flying off just past the DUI lot and got mangled by boggers and MTRs.

good run with a great group of people. the blazer did good with i being open diffs. a few of the steeper hill did give me a challenge but nothing a run could not fix. only problems i had was on the way home. around north pole my heater decided to quit. my buddy as a bunch of pics as soon as i get them i will post them up.
