hi guys ,

this weekend was just flat awsome , with good friends and beautiful weather it was over 60* the whole day no wind and lots of mud and trails to drive on ..

to start with we had one heck of a showing from a combination of different clubs and some privateers ..

alot of diffrent rigs and i think only a couple of jeeps .. and i think the worst stuck of the day was chevy powered yj on 1 tons !!

we made as far as the north side of the beaver ponds where we stopped for lunch and our buddy with 6.9 liter desiel starter quit and after about 2 hours trying to get it to start we packed up our lunch and camp fire and had another bronco pull him back to the parking lot ..where a new starter was waiting for him brought by one of the guys with us wife ....

only to have the new scmucks starter not work either

any way i have of the days pics ..

and the start of these is how bad the yj got stuck . he some how got rammed on a tree not just the log side but the whole tree root and was wedged bad ..it took some fancy winching and pulling to get him off and the log out of the water .. only to have chevy blow his front cv drive shaft .. i had welded his ujoint caps in to hold it till he got back home with my ready welder ..

with all the warm sun there was lots of melt off and mud ... my little scout was having a blast ..until towards the end if i hit even a 4 in deep puddle it would die ..

found the original 41 year old wiring to the starter was grounding out in the water .. http://www.arcticoffroad.com/forum/gallery/files/3/7/0/survival_pack_2_014.jpg

dragging the heavy f350 across the soft sand and a few over flows left out there gave us a challenge and had to daisy chain it across ..but we got it done and ray back to the parking lot waiting for a new starter ..

yeah sorry i dont know whats wrong with the upload ... after they were loaded they look to the right size and after i paste it to the board from the gallery some are huge while otheres where the right size ..

last night i had heck of a time trying to upload each pic it would either kick me out or time out and only allow you to upload 3 at a time ..

i have had this problem before and the only other way i found to upload a pic was to use the quick load single feature under your gallery name ..

but any way it was a great time and wanted to share some pictures ..:D
