We fooled around for a bit, got bored, and decided to see what Manchu had turned into
FYI, the Manchu gate combo has changed within the last month. We had to call the LE desk, and wait 20 min for a patrol to show up. The gave us no problems, but wouldn't leave the gate unlocked. we had to call/wait on our way out.

You can see in the pics, it's much, much wider that before, and there's 20-ft brush piles in the middle of what used to be the trail. Now it's mostly a power-line trail. Someone has big plans for that area.

I had a great time wheelin the ZJ. It doesn't do near as well as the TJ, but the TJ doesn't do near as well on the highway as the ZJ either.

Reporter John kyle live on the scene of the accident....

I was trying to climb a hill in the Dakota and got high centered. I could of got some more umph and made it over but I was hesitant. At that time Timmae said if you don't do it.. I'll do it. As soon as I heard those words I put it in reverse and got off the hill. I go play around on some other hills and then I get back to Timmae.. He has this look on his face and I look at the bottom of his door. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

He made it over ... but ..

I tried to get in and get a picture of the driver. All I heard was "No piktars!! No photography!!"....

I snuck in later on and finally got a shot of the driver.

I told you about that SAS the other day! Bummer about the damage, but at least it was nothing serious.

Guys, I had a ton of fun. I was quite surprised at the Beast's capabilities. I also found out that the gears are all stock.

Nice damage there, at least your smiling in the last pic! Another plus is now you don't have to worry about babying that side of the truck anymore, for a trail rig before you ever go out for the first time you should just walk around the truck with a small hammer and put a dent in every body panel...you'll feel better later when you start scratching and denting things later, which definetly will happen. :ROL:

Damage? I can't tell. It must have blended in with the rest of the dents, scratches, dings, divets, oh well, who cares. Would be nice to be able to tell the new ones from the old ones.

sad thing is, the damage via today was the only real damage that can be seen gawked at, laughed at, then ridiculled.

Oh. Was his truck damaged. Didn't notice.

Oooohhhh! That little scratch on the side. Shoot, a little turtle was and a buffer, no one will ever notice.

I assume that's the toyota Al bought off of Pierot? Always thought it was a nice rig, he never really got bit by the bug though. He's happy with his honda. Nice pics though...looks like Timmae was playing playstation in that truck of his while waiting for an extraction.

Wouldn't have happened in a Jeep.

It was a great time, thanks for showing me around Manchu and pulling me off the huill fella's. I will be there next saturday with my buddy (in his JEEP this time) and another friend, might even get a few others but I am not certain.

Thanks again,
AL
