6x6 turbodiesel Econoline Van on 6 44" Super swamper Trxus STS, Dana 60's all the way around. What's involved in a dual axle system like that?

I am sorry TJV but that is the gayest thing I have ever seen... the only way it could be MORE gay was if it was a car...

Man I so want to rock a 6x6 though. They made that for Snow and Ice. I love it.

Is it me, or do those tires look like TRXUS A/T's?

Those guys go to a lot of work to keep the tires covered.+
Doens't look too bad, but I wouldn't drive it.+ A truck is a different story.
There was a variant of Dodge's T-Maxx in TTC a few years back. Did poorly, IIRC.

Not sure if I like the Tandem setup but yea probly works pretty good to lower ground pressure. I like Big 4x4 Vans myself, how else are you going to move a lot of people, isnt there a big 4x4 van just south of us that will be at meet and great? Tandem isnt that hard I know someone that built a 2wd Ford truck with a tandem rear than put in tub in the back it was pretty cool, but I like all things diffrent I remember reading books when I was like 10 about motorized bathtubs and wheelbarrels and all kinds of crazy stuff and thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Dan Lance, of AKX. Yes, those are 37s. Yes, it carries 12 passengers. Yes, he drove it to Moab last summer.

They are.
Remember, those rigs are designed for minimal ground pressure for extended periods of time. I'd rather set out over the snow in one of those than most other rigs.
Though I'm still partial to the HZJ-80s on 44s they used in Antarctica. First wheeled vehicles to drive to the south pole.

compare the pic of yours to theres... yours looks pretty much stock, thats cool. its when these freaks lift the crap out of 'em and make 'em look gay. its like putting a car onto a 4x4 frame... just downright wrong.

They're vans, just big trucks with big bodies on them. Just like SUV's but can hold more stuff. Anyway:

That's the main site, it has a ton of pictures and articles about various trips all over the world. These guys have some cash. I personal favorite is the Nissan Patrol on 49" iroks:
