I need HELP to swap a body from one pick up to another this weekend, I know its a short notice but I got to give my wife her side of the garage back, I also need to borrow a engine lift (for a while if possible) to pull the engine out so I can take the frame to the dump. The pikups are in a garage with almost everything done to swap I just need some man power I am flexible on time sat or sun morning or night if anyone can help I think I need atleast three to five people to help me. if you can post up with a time frame that you would be availible and we will see if i can get enough people to do it. Marty can I borrow your trailer again so I can dump the cab and frame at the dump?

Unfortunately I am busy all Sat and Sunday.

However, when Tony's done with my engine hoist you are welcome to use it. Get with him on further arrangements.

I am looking at doing this Sunday depending on peoples scheadule. It should not take very long, just have to remove one cab and transfer over a cab, bed, and front clip. I am going to finish undoing the body mounts today. All indoors!

If you are in the North Pole/Badger area, I may be able to sneak out for a bit to lend a hand on Sunday. Post up a time and I'll try to get free.

lets shoot for 1300 / 1PM, I live at 2351 Granite DR North Pole. on Hurst from the light second left, first house on the left (green and white), if you are coming from the fire house on hurst, Granite is at the end of the S turn buy the little bridge, take a right and the first house on the left. you will see my Superduty and a snow covered jeep, big drive park anywhere either the side entrance or the front doesn't matter to me. my phone number is 488-1485. let me know if you can make it.
thanks

with some help, and alot of muscle the body of a jeep J4000 was transfered from a patched up frame to a good J20 3/4t frame, American steal is heavey. unfornatly with any cheep truck project, I found out why they were so cheap. 1/2 had a cracked th400 trans around the bell housing, and the 3/4 had a blown transfer case. It wouldn't be a problem with the origanal plan to just take the good for the buggy that I am making, but things change and now the 3/4 truck is going to be saved for my son to work on and hopefully drive if his grades are good enough. Thanks Tony for all the help, I couldn't of finished the swap with out you!
