View Full Version : Fuel pump reset
I have a problem, I put a 95 XJ complete engine, transmission, wiring harness and computer. My fuel pump doesn't work now. The airbags were deployed on the 95, I checked all fuses, two were blown and replaced. Everything that I read about jeeps says there is no reset button for crashes nor fused wires to stop the fuel pump. The fuel pump is the original and worked fine before the swap, the computer and wiring looks good with no apparent damage from the accident.

The relays on the right side of the engine compartment go bad.
I think its the second one from the back.
I had some gremlins when I did my swap too.
If the relay is working correctly, check the connection near the fuel pump for power AND ground, then move up to the relay.
Give me a ring/text if it's still giving you problems.
I remembered the last trail run and I already tried and switched all the relays around.

Sounds like toggle switch time!
The problem was a combination of the wrong relay switch and a loose plug on the wiring harness. Thanks to shane the electrical problem is solved, and I am one step closer to firing it up.
SHE's ALIVE!!!!!!!
there are a few wire gremlins, to ground wires going straight to relays, but it runs, and better yet it only cranks about twice before she starts and immediately jumps to 40 PSI. What a deal:D

So when/where are we going to test out your new motor?
AS soon as possible but I got to fix a couple little things before I am happy with it.
