Rex Trail Meetings in Anderson and Fairbanks.

Rex Trail Management issues: The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water will hold two public meetings in Anderson and Fairbanks. The purpose of these meetings will be to present and discuss a decision under Alaska Statute 38.04.058 on eastern Rex Trail access and outline future trail management options.

The dates, locations, and times of the open house meetings are:

May 13th Anderson, Anderson School Multipurpose Room, 7:00-10:00pm

May 14th Fairbanks, Noel Wien Public Library Auditorium, 7:00-10:00pm

You can view the pending AS 38.04.058 Decision, supporting information and opportunities for public involvement by visiting the website at: www.dnr.alaska.gov/mlw/rextrail. This site provides up to date information on the management of the Rex Trail. You may also obtain a copy of the decision from the Public Information Centers located in the Fairbanks, Anchorage, or Juneau DNR Offices.

As normal, they scheduled this on a Wednesday PM so I won't be able to attend... but we need to make a showing!
