Before I "sign", can someone tell me where this affects? I didn't see any state or country mentioned.

We the undersigned support the creation of a federally legislated Semi-Primitive BackCountry Recreation Designation to preserve all existing Multiple Use lands for all existing forms of recreation & management.

Sounds federal, affecting all public lands in the country, but it's a petition to start a bill, not to support one already in the system.

I guess I'm just not familiar/trusting with the online petition concept. Is this the USA?
I'm not impressed with the generality of the whole thing.
