Wrench or Wheel this weekend
Taking lil Hoss to the auto hobby shop to put that frakkin body lift on. Now that my gas tank is almost empty :-)

On top of working on a few of my vehicles, I'm going to tow two.

If anybody can lend a hand, the first one is easy, as it's a car on rollers. The second, not so as it's Don's XJ. If I could get a few bodies to help me push it off the trailer at the Badger Transfer site, I'd appreciate it.

Take it to the landfill. They'll unload it with a forklift for you. Someone is going to burned dropping vehicles of at the transfer site one day.

K&K Recycling takes cars for free, no queastions. But it has to be free of trash, fluids and battery. Even open on saturdays. My trailer is still full of CJ-8 parts and I need this gone today.

Yeah you are not allowed to drop cars at the transfer site.

The landfill is free as well, It's open 7 days a week as well, and they don't require the vehicles to be cleaned out. There really isn't any reason to dump them at the transfer site.

Took a car to the Landfill and an XJ to K&K. Took the XJ to K&K because it was completely cleaned out and a shorter trip than going back up to the landfill again.

Only two weeks ago there were no signs saying you couldn't drop off a vehicle at the transfer sites, now there are, so no dropping there anymore. Not a big deal.

Actually those signs have been there for atleast a year. Trust me I've seen them many times as I was stripping parts off a vehicle there.

Maybe I'm blind. Never seen those before.

No problems, and I didn't dump anything at the transfer sites.

Of course, I haven't tried to dump a vehicle since before I left in 07.

I will be in NP this weekend dropping off parts for Mikey.

I'll be taking apart the front axle to trouble shoot the ARB. I'll also be removing my winch and starting to clean/rebuild it. I'm still waiting on the seals and such for it but I'm going to start now. I need to get a new remote as well even though I'm wiring in an in cab control for it. But before the winch rebuild I have to hang some cabinets in the garage that have been sitting here for over a month now.
