Well from what I am told...
I am no longer STOCK!!!
Well not completely at least, Chevykev helped me swap my gears a bit (I taught him a thing or two so for anyone who is looking into his work, he is coming along well) LOL j/k
Chevykev = awesome

This was a very tedious and time consuming process, with a lot of measurements and head shaking. But I am very much appreciating his talents.
He set me up on 4.10's lock-right in the rear (<-- takers? go ahead if you want it, I’m tired of "backspacing" everything I say). Now it’s time to save up for lift and not break it in the meantime.
Does anyone know what dusty used in his rig, or have a way I could get a hold of him to find out? I don’t like to steal other peoples creativity, but if one person already did it right… know what I mean?
I got his number, I'll get you in touch with him. Glad to here it's done.
well i sold 2 ,giving away one , and bought a dodge  so im down to 6 trucks in the yard now .. Momma is happy thats all that counts .
While plowing the 75 developed a battery issue.

2 new batteries and I was good for a while... then I got to replace the alternator. Big Grin

Also - since Mark won't be on here for a bit:

His Burb got an air bag suspension helper kit installed - or mostly. A few broken fittings, then replaced fittings, then 1 of the wrong size has him waiting until NAPA opens tomorreow to finish. The Burb also got an oil change, and rear diff drained ready for new fluid tomorrow after the RTV sets up. Both the Burb and his wife's van got new tires this week. All in prep to travel the AlCan.

TJVigilante

Covered in snow, and likely parked for the winter.

Gotta go remove the battery before it gets cold.
I cried when I got this in an email last night.

2" BDS LIFT off 3.5 Rubicon Express on, alignment done, bad vibration fixed, still need to put 34" swampers on and hit the trails
Don't ask Sad
I have been driving my Jeep to work a lot lately, I pretty much got a buyer for my expedition, when the deal goes through I am going to do the cross over steering, 4340 axle shafts and I am toying with the Idea of 4 linking the rear, also on my list is tube fenders, crusher corners, and quick removeable mud flaps.

TJVigilante

Planned fix to the Jeep that works well for all parties involved.

Wish I could find that Dreamweaver cd though...
I spent 6 hours in the garage beating my head against a wall.

Removed the front locker, and also notidced I neglected to install one of the washers behind the sidegears. Oops. I'm looking forward to using 4wd on the road for a while. Besides, I'm done with trails for quite a bit.
I changed the oil finally. My oil filter must have weighed 3 pounds. It's been too long since I changed that.
My transmission has been low on fluid for a while, I could hear the whine. I finally removed that loose bolt that was trapped between the tranny mount and the cross member. It'll be nice to hear myself think over the rattles now.
I tried to install the engine skid back on there, but can't find all the hardware.
Next on the list is clean it up. I ship it out in 7 days.
JEEP:I ordered the parts for my crossover steering, going to pull it into the garage tommrow and drop the front axle and move it forward 2 inchs to get the front tires away from the rock slider at full flex

Yota: I bought a new starter for it, going to install it tomorrow before I pull the YJ in

ZJ has 1/2 a lift installed. I had to slap it back together in time to make a road trip to OR. Ill be driving around all week with the front lifted and the back stock.

I got the rear carrier put together

With a quick call for some tech info this morning work will resume.
Barring disaster or lack of parts, I won't sleep untill it's moving under it's own power again.

I spy...plans already made for the solstice run, a revenge run, and I'm thinking of a New years day run as well. Big Grin
No taillights on the Hummer, gona go out today and see if I can fix it.
Jeep needs lots of work. Steering fixed, which will be getting looked at soon. Leaks fixed-oil pan gasket, rear main seal (that I never replaced), power steering. Front bumper needs made soon. Gauges need checked, oil pressure doesn't work, coolant temp messes up, volt meter bounces around. E-brake needs fixed a little better.
XJ- Has 4wd now. Steering clunk fixed. Track bar mount drilled out and bolt replaced, now I just need to order some new bushings. Still wont drive straight though and has a wobble. I'm going to replace the steering stabilizer as it's bad. Need to replace power steering pump as it's leaking really bad and need a new pulley for one.

Dodge- Nfab Stepbars installed.
91 Burb - For those who had not heard, my cracked head, was not that. It was a spun #1 rod bearing. When it let go, I had just done a very hard hill climb and let it idle for ten minutes while I fixed the tarp. The oil was very hot, very used (3000 hard pulling miles) and with it being so warm, the oil pressure was lower than it is normally. It was showing about 20 on the guage, but that's at the back of the motor where pressure is higher. Normally it's not less than 40. I think if I would've shut the motor off when I fixed the tarp, it would've been okay. It's just the oil was so warm that it wasn't all that effective and yeah, it caused my bearing to spin instead of glide. CRAP! Hopefully I'll get the crank out in the next couple of days and get it downtown for repair/exchange. I may just let this go though as I have two folks looking to buy it as is.

74 K-5 - Planning on shipping it down here in the near future. It needs a few things fixed prior to shipment, so it's on hold till after Christmas/New Years, but soon it'll be headed my way, I hope. It may even have a set of KTF bumpers on it before it ships.

Found a potentially new DD this evening, it's big, has a TD and would haul the family and my trailer around nicely. Not to mention it's a good price, 3/4 ton and wears a bow tie.
