New plow truck got new plugs and wire, cap, rotor, and Jacobs electronics ignition system that woke that truck up in a big way! Also saw a slight improvement on mileage.

Sold the Blue and white Suburban.
Sold the Plow Blazer (without plow.)
Sold the plow from the blazer.

Ordered 5200# axles for my trailer -

White Spruce beat 6 Robbles price by about $300 and included new springs with the axles and electric brakes! I highly suggest going to talk to Ron at White Spruce if you need trailer parts.

This mostly leads to the fact that I have funds to rebuild the Blazer!
Next step is to take apart the 454 to check for wear and the need to or not to do machine work and rebuild.

Then assemble trans and doubler kit (203-205)
Need to rebuild the front axle (have lock-right on the counter)
Then strip current engine and trans out of blazer
Strip interior out of the Blazer - fab full roll cage
With engine out - do a lot of cleaning and minor body work and paint - inside and out
Install engine, trans, t-case and interior
Then fab front and rear bumpers plus some rock sliders / steps.
And possibly replace tires on for better on-road characteristics.

Goal was to attempt to be done with all this by my birthday - but I'll be happy if it's ready to go by May 1 - in time to do a few test runs before Meet N Greet.
Avy - has a rearranged bumper, at the shop.

SAV - In my shop needing a front axle swap, and a PS pump swap before I can even think about driving it in the snow.

Montana - Needs 3 new unit bearings so AWD and ABS will function again.

And of couse, I'm broke, and won't get my first paycheck until Dec 4.
BIGBOY is at Adam's shop having a wiring bug sorted out.
38's and H1 wheels are installed
New lights are installed
Extended brakelines will be ready this morning.

After it comes back, hopefully tommorrow, I will weld the rear diff, swap the front springs, Have a new front driveshaft made, put the interior back together, and mount the winches.
Then I need to work on a flatbed but I can trailer it to the trail if needed before it's done. (Rear wheel covers)
It's alive...... Now the fun starts.

Stumblinman

WooHoo ~!!!!
That's a good sign.
picked up a Detroit locker for my rear axle today, regear is complete, picking up the leafsprings tomorrow going to start reasembling the heap monday
Got some loaner one piece D30 axle shafts to help me get by till I can get all the parts for the other axles to and get them swapped in. Still need to pull the PS pump and see if I need a new bracket or pump or housing or what. Need to replace the front axle seals(actually need three so I can use the one piece shafts) and the oring on the ARB actuator. Almost got all the steel and supplies to start the rar bumper. Then I need to either rebuild the AW4 or replace it with something else, most likely just rebuild it.
The new truck is back home and moving under it's own power.
The E4OD is supposedly "new" but there was a steady trickle of nice, clean ATF coming from the bellhousing when I first moved it. After I let the truck run long enough to completely warm up for the first time, it stopped leaking but I'm not counting on it to stay that way. I'm guessing pump seal. The truck has sat for two years without being started and if the trans was new, I'm thinking the seal might have hardened.
I don't know autos very well. I'm hoping anyone who does has some advice for me.
I plan on running it around the neighborhood a bit this weekend to see if it starts leaking again.
Pump seals are easy, especially if it happens to be the pump to converter seal. Unfortunately it requires transmission removal. It's not hard to replace all the pump seals, which might be a good idea if you have to pull it.
Pulling my Transmission in the morning to repair the leak. I hope to have it back in by the afternoon.
Also need to install a missing tail light and wire both rear lights, bolt up the front track bar, trim the front fenders, and weld the rear diff.
I also have to pull some heater control parts from another parts truck so I can reassemble the dash.
If I get through all that and still have time, I'll start working on the rear winch mount.
Blue truck: It lives!! moves very well under it's own power, multiple little fuel leaks fixed, no more air in the injection system, and seems to run, drive, and shift smoothly.

Needs:
brake lights and defroster troubleshot, insurance and registration, and a small amount of filing done to the starter nose, the counterwieght on the flexplate hits it a little bit under certain conditions...took me a week to figure out where the noise was coming from.

White truck, needs hood put back on, rear brakes bled, batteries, rear tires, and it will be up for sale.

Hummer:

Needs lot's of little things but nothing that will stop it from wheeling.

Ole get that thing going and on the trail. set up a build date if need be. You got 20 days till jakes run. or 7 days till the circle fairbanks trail.

My updates:
Got one piece axle shafts installed with all the correct seals, no leaks yet.
Fix all the stuff from the power steering bracket bolt breaking. Got a metal pulley instead of the plastic one so this one shouldn't break. And replaced the belt finally after getting 3 wrong ones from two different part stores.
now I have a break issue again. I've had some issues with the front calipers locking up before after a long decent and them getting really hot so I replaced them with the ones from the donor D30 as they seemed a lot better and the pads on it were almost brand new. But now they are fully locked. It took 4Lo to get it out of the garage. I'll diagnose that later in the week as I'm out of time for today. ANy ideas though will be apreciated.
88XJ

3.5 inch lift actually around 5" because of the worn suspension. Front receiver bumper, with removable winch, new head lights, Welded rear diff, new track bar installed(now its safe to drive), This coming week CB radio, rear hitch and hard mount the fire extinguisher and 33's I hope.

68 Baja Bug

Engine, Trans and Transfer case pulled out of donor 72 J4000, framed stripped and ready for the dump. 35" tire ready for mock up(Thanks Tony), snow covered CJ8 waiting to come in side so I can prep the frame for the bug body, snow covered bug.

76 J20

Full size Jeep, 14 year olds toy, now with a new body(72 J4000) sitting outside for for the summer build. I was thinking about making it a 4 Door.

I've been sick all weekend but it's in the garage now and the tranny will be coming out first thing in the morning. In theory, I could be ready by next weekend, but it's unlikely with my schedule. I only have part of tomorrow to work on it and maybe a few hours on one or two evenings later in the week. I'll do what I can.
Forgot to update;

SAV
1. Has a different PS pump, much easier to turn and stop. (hydroboost)
2. Bled the rear brakes, made it even easier to stop.
3. Changed drag link ends, less play in wheel.
4. Aired down tires. Noticed that at 30psi tires could hold 2850lbs each. The SAV doesn't weigh anywhere near that. 15psi in all four and it goes a bit smoother down the road, as long as it doesn't spend the night outside and the tires turn to ovals.
Oh, goodie.:pissed: My front right axle seal's leaking again. This time in less than 1500 miles after getting it and the shaft replaced again. Probably even fewer miles since there had to be enough oil built up to get past the AlloyUSA outer seals... I can't blame Gene's for this one. It's obvious there's something wrong with the housing that it keeps eating seals. The first one went bad at less than 3000 miles on a brand new Jeep. I'm on seal number 6 and shaft number 4... I'm less than 1000 miles away from being out of warranty. Hopefully they'll agree with me that it's a recurring issue, hasn't been fixed in numerous attempts, and go ahead and replace at least the housing. I won't complain if they replace the whole axle, but I'll be satisfied with a new housing with all my parts swapped into it. Once it's out of warranty, I can't be throwing parts at it every few months out of pocket. I've been nice about it until now, but something's gotta happen to fix this thing for good.
Fired up the Postal Jeep Sunday to put the new radiator in it, fired right up after sitting all winter, although it was +23 at the house. Strapped Gavin into the passenger seat and figured we would see how far up the front yard we could make itSmile Well we didn't even get the rear tires out of the ditch and POW! Backed down and Klank,Klank,Klank Rear u-joint on the front driveline, Fun fun!!

Put it in the garage and one of the keeper bolts on one side gone and the other sheared off, one more thing on the list, oh and now its leaking tranny fluid, need to check out to see if the drivline took out the pan.

turboL

ready to blow up papa smurf( aka 91 blue chevy) cause of brake problems.
new to me bronco 2 needs tranny dropped for flywheel install
99 ranger still dead need to swap motor
Oh boy... another BII guy! LOL WOOHOO!!! Turbo, Not familiary with the inner tranny but if you have any other questions I know just about anything else. By the time I get done with my Lil Hoss he will be brand new! LOL On that note:

Still need to put my body lift on. Looking at the first weekend in Feb.
Blower motor is hanging in there.
Desperately seeking bumpers to mount a winch/some lights/full size spare, and get the cheap aftermarket ones OFF. Any body feel like welding some?
Lots of nasty carpet to come up and rhino line to go on
EVENTUALLY--A decent sound system (although I settle for a radio and some speakers right now)
Drove the jeep to work, no major problems, no oil leaks and the oil pressure and trans work great. It has a lot more power the the old style 4.0. However when I got home the upper radiator was warm, the lower was ice cold. I think I need to replace a thermostat.
Donald I have a brand new thermostat for one if you want it.
Need to install new defroster motor and get new to me tires on big zuk.

Replace inner axles seal on little zuk.
Have a new gasket set for the 454 on hand, as well as a new oil pump - so engine reassembly can start soon. Smile
my motor should be back from the machine shop today ..it ended up needing to be bored .30 over and i had it completely cleaned and squared up .. she should last a long time now ..

then its on to reassembly ..
starting a brilliant brake light build!! (especially after getting pulled over tonight) Smile

i will post pictures when it is done
